THE TIGERSNAKE WHISKEY RANGE

Tiger Snake Whiskey was Australia’s very first mixed grain whiskey, called Sour Mash Whiskey due to the fact the term ‘Bourbon’ can only be used by spirits produced in the USA. This style of whiskey first piqued Cameron’s interest in his youth, and the Tiger Snake range represents his journey to create the best possible Australian example.

TIGER SNAKE 43%

The introductory expression to the Tiger Snake family is the 43% release. This is crafted using the solera method in 1000 litre batches, providing long term consistency to the bottled product. This expression is always released at a standard ABV of 43%.

TIGER SNAKE CASK STRENGTH

Moving up the range, Tiger Snake Cask Strength uses the same grain mix of corn, rye, barley and triticale, but is bottled at cask strength straight from the barrel. This means that the ABV will vary by release, but usually lands between 60% - 70%.

TIGER SNAKE RYE OF THE TIGER

Masterfully distilled from a grain bill of 60% rye and 40% pale malt barley, Rye of the Tiger is also a small batch, single barrel release but is always bottled at an ABV of 55%.
Both Tiger Snake Cask Strength and Rye of the Tiger include the bottle and batch number on the label, which is applied by hand in keeping with the small batch tradition.
