This limited-edition expression of Single Malt Whisky has been proudly selected as being fit to recognise the service of HMAS Albany, a Royal Australian Navy patrol boat scheduled for decommissioning in December 2025.

Rich and smooth, Albany Port Cask 43% showcases the decadent flavours developed from ageing in Australian Tawny Casks (formerly known as Port Casks).

Handcrafted at our distillery on the edge of Princess Royal Harbour, this whisky was first aged in ex-bourbon American oak before maturing further in a Tawny cask. Prior to bottling we hydrate this whisky with pure water to bring it to an approachable 43%. 

The result is an exceptionally smooth and morish whisky, tasting of caramelised port wine raisins, stewed plums, and fresh nutmeg. 

The average age of this product is 5 to 8 years.
